Hello, welcome to my blog! I’m a Senior Manager Engineering with over 18 years of experience in designing, building, and maintaining large data-centric distributed applications. I specialize in migrating legacy applications to future-proof platforms and technologies.
Current Role
I’m currently working in Amadeus. We work on a Connectivity Layer that integrates travel sellers with various airline providers. I’ve conceptualized and built a new cloud-native technical capability aimed at solving provider integration challenges across different business units. I’m also leading the GenAI initiative to reduce the time to market of integration projects.
Past Experience
Before this, I have worked on large data-centric reference data applications. I have helped transform an ETL based application using Spark/Scala on Azure. I have extensive project execution and management experience in the banking domain, primarily working on Reference data applications and custom ESB for leading banks.
Technical Proficiency
I’m proficient in C++ on Solaris/Linux, Oracle, Python, Java, Scala, Spark (Databricks), and building GenAI based applications. In the past I have played the role of Technical Architect and Lead Principal Engineer. I have a good knowledge of Machine Learning, Data Analytics techniques, GenAI, architectural concepts.
Education
I hold a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree from Cochin University of Science and Technology, India, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics, Electronics, and Computer Science from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, India. I’m also Deutsch A1 certified from Goethe.
